Favour Robinson | Designing Your God-Inspired Life
Magazine 31 readers let me introduce you to an outstanding Becoming Proverbs 31 Woman, please meet Favour Robinson! Favour is a mother, wife, lawyer and Founder of "Raising a Generation of Esthers" in Cameroon Africa. She is all about helping women across the world to design their God-inspired life!

Favour, thank you so much for talking with us! Before we dive in, our readers are eager to learn more about you. Could you share a bit about yourself?
My name is Favour Robinson (formerly Ikome). I was born and raised in Cameroon, a nation in Central Africa. I moved to the United States at the age of 19 as an international student, with the dream of pursuing a career in law. But God had other great plans for my life that didn’t include being a lawyer in the way I had considered. I am still in the space of legislating matters of importance to God through intercessory prayers instead of traditional courtrooms. In response to God’s call on my life, I have evolved into becoming a bestselling author, a speaker, a coach, and a leader. I have found a passion in helping women across the world to design their God-inspired lives. A life that’s full of purpose, peace, and profitable outcomes (prosperity). Over the last 8 years, I have spent a significant part of my time investing in the success of young women and schoolgirls in Cameroon through a nonprofit organization I founded called Raising a Generation of Esthers. I am married to the love of my life, Corry Robinson, with whom I lead a global faith-based community to equip God’s people for territorial impact in the local church, marketplace, political arenas, and beyond. While I enjoy doing the amazing things I have mentioned, my favorites are being Corry’s wife and a mother to our two lovely daughters. A fun fact about me is I really love to travel. I cringe every time people make it seem like
I’ll have to choose between being a mother and doing other things (like traveling the world for ministry and play). Nevertheless, I have realized that I can have both, it’s just a matter of understanding the seasons and navigating them well.

How has God been leading you in this season as a Coach?
In this season, God has been leading me to make next-level investments in my own life to be equipped to provide His people with the tools and resources they need to design the life He intends for them to have. Something I have come to value in my career is knowing I can’t take people to places I haven't been to. I can serve a value I am not fully enjoying in my own life and work.
As I prepare for 2025, God is leading me to design strategies and program modules that will not only unearth the root causes of limitations women are facing in their lives but also how they can overcome those limitations to create a harmonious reality across every key area of their lives.
What role does obedience play in seeing God move in your journey?
[I have also learned that] obedience is my #1 job description. Walking in obedience isn’t optional and I have learned not to treat it as such. Like the bible says God knows the days of the upright and he sees to it that their inheritance is forever (Psalms 37:18). I know that my success and security in any sphere of influence God has called me to is not dependent on my gifts alone. It is in my ability to obey the leadership of the Holy Spirit every day and all day. Everything I do isn’t about good ideas but God's ideas that will take my willingness to follow His instructions to see them accomplished.
How do you find the balance in keeping Godly standards and not following worldly trends?
It’s simple! The world isn’t my master, God is. The world isn’t my standard for operating in my calling, Jesus is. The world neither created nor made me into the woman I have become or I am becoming, it’s ALL God. I don’t have to find a balance, God Himself is my balance so I focus on Him. I can’t look to the world for answers they can’t provide. If anything, the world is looking to me as a child of God for cutting-edge, innovative strategies and solutions to problems the world is facing. I advise myself daily to keep my focus on God and act uprightly so that I can continue to grow, do better, and achieve bigger.
How do you manage to be fully present in every aspect of Ministry, Career, and Home Life?
When a person wears multiple hats, it’s easy to start relying on themselves for strength and their abilities to do everything. I have come to understand that when we say we are seeking to strike a balance with everything we have going on, what we mean in essence is that we need harmony and peace across all these areas of responsibility; where one thing is not thriving at the expense of other important things falling apart. One of the things I prioritize doing is knowing what season I am in and what the season requires of me. There are seasons where multiplication is going to happen by subtraction (that is cutting back on some things, reducing the frequency of others, and taking away what isn’t fruitful), not addition.
I used to think that impact meant doing more. While that’s true, it’s not the whole or only truth. Understanding seasons and navigating them has become my strategy for effectively showing up on all fronts. And most especially, I rely on God for wisdom on how to serve in the different capacities I can.

What guidance can you offer our readers to remain faithful in their journey as a Proverbs 31 Woman?
The Proverbs 31 Woman isn’t a self-made woman but a woman who has understood the dynamics of leveraging her partnership with God and His sovereign leadership in her life to excel at everything she does, with extraordinary results. That’s something I would like them to have in mind as they walk their journey.
I’ll also add that while it’s good to be inspired by other people’s journeys, they shouldn’t get sucked up with focusing on what others have going on and miss out on the opportunity to develop their potential to manifest greatness.
What mindsets have kept you grounded in your entrepreneurial journey?
Challenges are a part of the process of building resilience and no one in this world earns the right to give me “NO” for my final answer. I believe in going back many times as I am supposed to ask for what I need, even in the face of rejection. I may need to pivot or tweak a few things but that doesn’t include throwing in the towel on my dreams. As entrepreneurs, we’ll face rejections and many “NOs” but it’s not enough reason not to create that product or provide the services that you know are God’s answers to many people’s prayers.
In summary, a mindset that has kept me grounded in my entrepreneurial journey is to have solid convictions about everything I do and to make sure my convictions are stronger than any controversies or oppositions I face. Because that’s the only way we remain standing when everything else is falling apart.
What advice would you give to other trailblazing Christian Entrepreneurs struggling to live a Proverbs 31 women's Lifestyle?
To develop an affinity for understanding the grace of God at work in our lives and invest a lot of time in mastering their crafts. When we are mediocre in our approach to building anything or serving below quality, we are likely to struggle in ways that may seem impossible to overcome. But if you are operating at an elite level, you just need to be patient with yourself and give it time to start experiencing profitable results. They must be intentional with developing themselves into a trusted voice or thought leader in their industry and stay on track regardless of what’s happening. You can’t build anything without having grit for resilience.
Can you share any scriptures, declarations and affirmations that have kept you grounded through your seasons?
I have tons of declarations for different things and areas of my life because
I believe that much in the power of declaring what aligns with God’s will and purpose for my life.
I published a book in 2020 titled “ Decree a Thing” by Favour Ikome. It’s transformed the
lives of people of different backgrounds and works of life across the world. For anyone who would like to start making declarations as a part of their lifestyle, my book is a good place to start. But for quick reference, a scripture I pray, declare, and have incorporated into coaching my clients is
“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”
Isaiah 48:17 KJV.
My declarations from this scripture are:
Because I am led and instructed by God, the works of my hands shall be profitable.
The words of my mouth and books shall have profitable outcomes in the lives of those who hear me speak or read my books.
My feet shall be led by God to profitable places.
I shall not sustain any losses or casualties in my entrepreneurial endeavours. - I gain access to profitable networks, relationships and alliances for greater impact.
